About the role
Job Summary Reporting to the Manager, Provisioning - the RMA Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing the RMA (return material authorization) process for aircraft parts and components, ensuring timely returns, replacements, and credits. This position is a three month contract.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Initiate, track, and manage RMA requests for defective or unserviceable aircraft parts and components
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure timely return and replacement of parts
- Maintain accurate records of all RMA transactions, including part numbers, serial numbers, vendor information, and shipping details.
- Track the progress of repairs and replacements, verifying that parts are returned in a timely and satisfactory manner
- Maintain adherence to established RMA procedures and policies to ensure consistent and compliant operations
- Actively participating in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS) including, reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understand, comply and promote the Company Safety Policy
- Other duties as asigned

Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in RMA role (aviation experience preffered)
- Strong understanding of contractual agreements
- Previous experience in a technical repair role within aviation an asset
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with AMOS an asset
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
