About the role
What is the opportunity?
With the vision to deliver an undisputed, frictionless, end-to-end client onboarding experience for new and existing RBCIS Clients, this role is responsible for driving significant change and continuous improvement in the client onboarding lifecycle. Leads the implementation of tactical and strategic solutions across the client onboarding lifecycle, including digitization, standardization, simplification and more. Using data, analytics and insights, this role will tackle complex problem solving and define the client onboarding roadmap to deliver on business objectives and client needs, while translating business priorities into actionable plans and measurable outcomes. Collaborates with stakeholders, such as business development, relationship management, client solutions, technology, operations, risk, and others, to ensure we deliver a cohesive onboarding experience to our clients.
What will you do?
- Deliver a client centric approach in all aspects of analyzing, planning and delivery of client onboarding solutions, ultimately resulting in a significantly improved end-to-end RBCIS client experience
- Conduct in depth data analytics to deliver meaningful insights and drive improved decision making
- Own and lead continuous improvement of client onboarding processes through technology, AI / automation, simplification, process optimization, reduction of manual effort & rework, reduction of errors, and streamlining, while driving standardization and consistency
- Simplify and digitize client information gathering/sharing (e.g., forms, templates, file sharing repository), ensuring an improved client experience across the end-to-end client journey
- Drive a risk mindset through implementation of sound, repeatable processes with effective controls in place
- Foster a client centric culture by acting upon client feedback and having a thorough understanding of client needs
- Create and manage internal feedback loop to enable ongoing continuous improvement
- Act as a trusted advisor and collaborator on client onboarding processes, ensuring that industry standards are met

- Strategic thinking & complex problem solving
- Proven experience using data analytics, insights & metrics to drive complex change
- Exceptional client focus & stakeholder engagement
- Proven leadership and interpersonal skills, with ability to challenge the status quo
- Industry knowledge, including RBC Investor Services products & services
Nice-to-have:
- Product owner experience
- Lean Six Sigma Certification
- PMP® Certification
- Change Management Certification
