We are hiring Machinists at all experience levels — from entry-level and apprentice machinists to experienced Manual and CNC machinists — to support our growing Winnipeg operations.

Shift Information
Primarily day shift Monday–Friday, with flexibility for evening or weekend shifts as needed. No regular overnight shifts.
What You’ll Do
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
- Set up and operate Manual and/or CNC machining equipment
- Measure and inspect components using precision tools including calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Manufacture and repair precision aerospace components to required tolerances and specifications
- Troubleshoot machining setups and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Follow company safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
- Cross-train and support production needs across the team
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Machining training, apprenticeship, related experience, or willingness to participate in company-sponsored training
- Experience reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools
- Mechanical aptitude with strong attention to detail
- Basic shop math and measurement skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Flexibility to support multiple shifts as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Trade certification
- Previous machining, manufacturing, aerospace, or MRO experience
- Experience operating Manual and/or CNC machining equipment
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling, and fabrication methods
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

StandardAero is organized in two distinctive divisions, Engine Services and Component Repair Services. These two divisions represent the core strengths of StandardAero, our exhaustive engine maintenance, repair and overhaul services capabilities and our significant portfolio of component repair services for business aviation, commercial aviation, military, fixed wing, helicopter and industrial power customers.
