Mainline Living has a unique contract position for a customer focused, experienced, Leasing Specialist. This is for our community in Kelowna, British Columbia.

Mainline Living is the Property Management division of Traine Construction & Development. Now that we have all that out of the way let's talk about your new role with us!

As our Leasing Specialist you make each interaction unforgettable, sharing your wealth of knowledge of our community and the surrounding area. You have a razor sharp social skills, the ability to make any situation and positive one. You are the community’s sales representative whose primary duties are to present properties and provided amenities to prospective residents in a way that speaks to each individuals needs; act as a landlord for property owners and help them navigate the property market and advertise available properties using a variety of media and promotion materials. As the leasing specialist you properly secure lease agreements through qualifying standards.

You will respond to rental inquiries; schedule viewings, prepare documentation. Record all telephone, email, text and in person visits on appropriate reports. You are customer service focused, selling our community vision and story to our future residents. You always go the extra mile to ensure excellent service. As the Leasing Specialist you hear people’s questions and interact with each person. Ensure the achievement of the property's revenue and occupancy goals by leading leasing, marketing and advertising activities for the property. You are organized and are proficient in Excel, Word, MS Office, Google, Rent Café and YARDI.

As the Leasing Specialist you will be available for possible evening and weekends, to ensure our successful lease up of our new community.

Do you have:

  • 2 plus years’ experience in leasing residential/multifamily condo’s
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask during busy period
  • Working knowledge of real estate & leasing practices
  • Have your High School Grade 12 Diploma or GED.

Considered Assets:

  • Other professional qualifications related to residential property management and leasing
