Hybrid Interaction/Visual Designer - Rewards: On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Hybrid Interaction/Visual Designer - Rewards for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Hybrid Interaction/Visual Designer - Rewards - Job Description: The designer will be working on the digital experience for Rewards’ Everyday Value team. They will collaborate with the Marketing team, taking the lead on both interaction design and visual design. The role requires comfort in a collaborative interdisciplinary team and agile ways of working.

Hybrid Interaction/Visual Designer - Rewards - Responsibilities:

• Be the consistent day-to-day designer dedicated to a squad, managing design needs with support from the Design Lead
• Responsible for interaction and visual design deliverables from concepting to final design files
• Participate in Design Research and data-led design approaches
• Ensure designs follow accessible design requirements and visual brand guidelines
• Collaborate with the Marketing team for visual design consistency
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners including product managers, project managers, business analysts, developers, and quality assurance teams
• Participate in Agile ceremonies

Hybrid Interaction/Visual Designer - Rewards - Mandatory Skills:

• At least 7 years of product design experience, or in a combination of Interaction Design and Visual design roles
• Experience designing within the loyalty, retail, or ecommerce space (both responsive web and native mobile app design)
• Demonstrated expertise with design, prototyping, and collaboration tools such as Figma, Mural, and design systems
• Demonstrated ability to articulate design strategy, and the rationale and logic behind design decisions
• Experience working in Lean UX and with Agile dev teams
• Usability research experience
• Great Communication and Facilitation Skills

Hybrid Interaction/Visual Designer - Rewards – Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience working in the loyalty space
• Experience working with product managers, BA’s, project managers, developers, and QE
• Experience creating user journeys, wireframes, and information architecture
• Experience with facilitating or supporting user research
• Understanding of various research methods and their applications
