In this role, you will
- Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
- Update and manage environmental data and reporting in our Environmental Data Management System (EMS)
- Assist with on-site research and development activities as well as monitoring, sampling, inspecting, and reporting for environmental reclamation and geotechnical compliance
- Water movement tracking, water management and water treatment
- Project Management tasks, including safety and contractor supervision, and project planning
- Involvement in wildlife monitoring projects, and Biodiversity Management Plan updates
- Create and evaluate innovative ideas and technologies to help improve the way we do business
Requirements
- Working towards an Undergraduate degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Forestry or Hydrology
- A valid Class 5 Driver's License without restrictions
- Able to operate vehicles at our operations, in various weather conditions and terrain
- Motivated self-starters with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously
- Comfortable working in a dynamic work environment with a willingness to work outdoors
- Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with a capability to communicate complex ideas to all levels and partners
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)

Salary Range: $4,275 - $5,417 CAD / Month
Salary is commensurate with the number of academic semesters and prior co-op
experiences completed.
