About the role

Position Overview

The Sales Manager at Calian Agriculture is a key member of the management team, responsible for driving market growth and managing the dealer network. The role focuses on expanding sales of the Bin-Sense product line across Canada and the northern United States by supporting existing dealers and identifying new distribution opportunities.

Responsibilities

Drive overall sales growth of Bin-Sense in Canada and Northern US.

Manage and support the dealer network, including onboarding and training.

Identify and recruit new distribution channels and dealers.

Collaborate with Marketing and Support teams to develop sales strategies and dealer programs.

Lead sales forecasting and execution using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot).

Develop and recommend changes to pricing models and dealer programs.

Represent Calian Agriculture at tradeshows and external events.

Provide customer support, product recommendations, and training.

Deliver market insights and feedback to senior leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field.

10+ years’ experience in business development, marketing, or client relationship roles.

Strong relationship-building, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Highly organized with solid time management and decision-making abilities.

Valid Canadian driver’s license.

Willingness to travel across Canada and the US for sales meetings and events.

Additional Requirements

Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot).

Ability to interpret sales data and make strategic, data-driven decisions.

Capable of conflict resolution, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration.

Must be able to perform job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
