**Employment Status:**Rotating Shifts. Day shifts 7:30AM -4:00PM Evening 3:30PM-12AM Monday- Friday. Weekend shifts and Oncall availability as well.

##About the Positions
ATS Traffic Edmonton is recruiting for experienced Traffic Control People (also known as TCP's or Traffic Technicians) for the 2026 season! Do you have previous lane closure experience? Have you operated flatbed trucks, trucks with trailers, and TMA's? If so, consider joining ATS Traffic's On-Street Services team as a TCP!
You will be responsible for implementing protected Work Areas for contractors and the like, within Edmonton and Northern Alberta. TCP's implement safe lane closures and traffic detours with physical setup and removal of devices such as barricades, pylons, signage and digital messaging boards.
##Qualifications

A year of previous traffic control experience will be considered an asset, specifically lane closures and takedowns.

A validNon-GDL (non-graduated) Class 5 Driver’s Licenseand aClean 3-Year Regular Drivers Abstractis required to drive our company vehicles.

Experience with Flat Deck trucks and Towing trailers an asset.

Navigation of City of Edmonton an Asset

Own vehicle to get to and from work is required as ATS is not located on public transit routes.

As this is a safety-sensitive role, all candidates must undergo andpass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Test.Note: All safety-sensitive positions have azero tolerance policy marijuana, medical or recreational.

Ability tosuccessfully pass a Fit Testincluding lifting between 50 to 75 pounds.

A valid ACSA TCP Ticket is an asset, howeverATS covers the cost and provides****ALL training and tickets to get you started! -**Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):**All you need to bring is a pair of CSA Approved Safety Boots on your first day -we will cover the rest.
