About the role

Wellness Extract is at a pivotal stage of growth. As brand awareness, trust, and market influence become increasingly important drivers of growth, we are seeking a dedicated leader to own the company's brand presence and partnership ecosystem across its target markets. This role is responsible for strengthening brand credibility, expanding strategic relationships, and building programmes that increase Wellness Extract's visibility, influence, and long-term market position. You will do this through the quality of your own work, your relationships, your judgement, and your craft.

Key areas of ownership include: Brand presence and market awareness Strategic partnerships and relationship development Public relations and brand credibility Influencer, expert, and content partnerships

Role Overview: This is a highly visible senior individual contributor role. You will be one of the public faces of the company the person who builds and holds the relationships that define how the market sees Wellness Extract. You work directly with the Founder and bring the brand to life externally through your own expertise, initiative, and execution.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, relationship builder, and strategic thinker who is equally comfortable representing the company at industry events, managing influencer and expert collaborations, engaging with media, and identifying opportunities that strengthen the brand and support long-term business growth.

We are looking for a builder, not a manager; someone who thrives on creating opportunities, developing meaningful relationships, and delivering high-quality work through personal ownership and execution. You are comfortable being the expert in the room without a team behind you. You are comfortable operating with a high degree of ownership and autonomy, translating strategy into execution without relying on a large internal team.

We have done this without a dedicated brand or partnerships function. That changes now. We are not looking for someone to manage a department. We are looking for someone who is exceptional at the craft, who can walk into a room and represent this brand with authority, build partner relationships that last, and earn media coverage that money can't buy. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Brand strategy and campaigns Define and execute brand-building initiatives across Canada. Lead brand campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities. Strengthen braBrand strategy and campaignsnd positioning, visibility, and market presence. Identify opportunities to increase brand awareness, trust, and customer engagement. Collaborate with leadership to translate business objectives into impactful brand initiatives. Partnerships and content ecosystem Build and manage relationships with influencers, creators, affiliate partners, healthcare practitioners, industry experts, key opinion leaders, and strategic stakeholders. Develop partnership programmes that strengthen brand credibility, awareness, and engagement. Identify and recruit partners aligned with the company's mission and growth objectives. Develop co-marketing, educational, community, and content initiatives with partners. Coordinate partnership activities across campaigns, events, media opportunities, and brand initiatives. Negotiate partnership agreements and manage ongoing relationships. Measure and optimise partnership performance and long-term value creation. Public relations and brand authority Develop and execute PR initiatives that increase brand visibility and credibility. Build relationships with journalists, publishers, podcast hosts, media outlets, and industry organisations. Coordinate interviews, speaking opportunities, media features, and press releases. Support thought leadership initiatives involving the company, its partners, and the leadership team. Strengthen Wellness Extract's reputation and authority within the wellness industry. Strategic partnerships and market development Identify and develop partnerships that drive awareness, credibility, and business growth. Build relationships with complementary brands, retailers, agencies, associations, and industry stakeholders. Develop co-marketing, educational, and collaboration opportunities. Support new business initiatives and market expansion efforts. Maintain and manage a pipeline of strategic partnership opportunities. Brand representation Represent the company at industry events, conferences, trade shows, networking events, and partner meetings. Act as a trusted and credible representative of the brand in all external settings. Build and maintain meaningful relationships across the industry ecosystem. Strengthen Wellness Extract's visibility and reputation across its target markets. Cross-functional coordination Coordinate initiatives across internal teams, agencies, creators, and external stakeholders. Ensure projects are executed effectively and aligned with business objectives. Develop scalable processes and programmes that support brand growth and partnership success. Provide regular recommendations and updates to leadership on strategic opportunities, market developments, and partnership performance.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE Within the first 12 months, you will have: Built an active, high-quality network of partners, creators, media contacts, industry experts, and strategic stakeholders that the company did not have before. Secured earned media placements, speaking opportunities, and press features that meaningfully strengthen brand credibility. Activated a portfolio of partnership relationships — across influencers, KOLs, affiliate partners, and complementary brands — with clear performance against agreed objectives. Delivered brand and partnership programmes with measurable impact on brand visibility, share of voice, and market presence. Become the trusted external voice of Wellness Extract - the person partners, media, and industry stakeholders associate with the brand.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years of experience in brand marketing, partnerships, public relations, communications, influencer marketing, business development, or a related field. A track record of building and managing high-value external relationships and partnerships personally, but not through a team. Proven experience leading campaigns, partnerships, events, or public-facing initiatives as an individual contributor. Strong communication, presentation, relationship-building, and negotiation skills. Strong project management and organisational capabilities allow you to manage your own workload with precision. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities simultaneously without support staff. Self-starter with strong ownership, initiative, and accountability; you do not wait to be directed. Based in Canada and able to travel nationally and internationally for events, partner meetings, and industry functions as required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience working with consumer brands, wellness brands, lifestyle brands, health products, or e-commerce businesses. Existing relationships with influencers, media contacts, agencies, retailers, industry organisations, or strategic partners across Canada and the US. Experience managing partnership, influencer, affiliate, or community programmes independently. Strong understanding of brand building, content marketing, PR, and community engagement. Professional, confident, and comfortable representing a growing brand in public-facing environments.
