The Job
We are recruiting for a temporary Service Admin Assistant(s) to support the Child Youth Service Teams. The incumbent will report to the Administration Manager. This individual(s) will provide team administrative support to the agency in accordance with Society policies and procedures, protocols under the Collective Agreement, Ministry Regulations, Standards and Directives and relevant legislation. This position will work from the Barrie office location and provide reception coverage for that branch office. Occasional reception coverage at other SMFC branch office locations may be required on an as needed basis and travel is compensated. This is a unionized position with CUPE Local 5319.
Qualifications
- Administrative or business college diploma or equivalent education and experience.
- Thorough knowledge of service-related software and database systems.
- Solid understanding of organizational infrastructure and processes.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Broad knowledge of child welfare systems.
- Strong attention to detail to avoid errors.
- Understanding of anti-racism and anti-oppression values and principles.
- A valid drivers’ license and access to a vehicle is required.
- Bilingualism (French/English) is a highly desired asset.
Compensation The salary range will be $47,218 to $59,035 commensurate with experience.
