Hypertec is seeking an Event Manager (12-month contract) to join our Marketing team in Montreal. If you are motivated, collaborative, and aligned with our values, we would love to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Contributing: Pre-Event Strategy and Planning
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define event goals, target audience, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Develop event concepts, themes, and branding elements that align with organizational goals.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, audience needs, and competitive opportunities.
- Create detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and contingency strategies.
- Coordinate venue scouting, vendor sourcing, and contract negotiations to secure the best partnerships.
- Collaborate with partners on events and coordinate sponsorship opportunities.
Event Brand Consistency
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure events are consistent with the organization’s brand identity.
- Develop promotional strategies, including digital campaigns, social media outreach, and email marketing.
- Oversee the design and production of branded event materials, including invitations, signage, and merchandise.
- Ensure cohesive messaging and visual consistency across all event touchpoints.
Event Execution
- Manage all logistics, including venue setup, audiovisual requirements, catering, and transportation.
- Oversee registration processes and ensure a seamless attendee experience.
- Lead on-site coordination, troubleshoot issues, and manage staff, vendors, and volunteers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders during events.
Post-Event Analysis
- Conduct post-event evaluations, including attendee feedback surveys and stakeholder interviews.
- Analyze event performance against KPIs, such as attendance, engagement, lead generation, and ROI.
- Prepare detailed reports with actionable insights to inform future event planning.
- Maintain a database of lessons learned, vendor reviews, and best practices.
What Sets You Apart:
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in event planning and management, including branding and strategic planning.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, and audience engagement strategies.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, manage multiple events simultaneously, and travel.
