Job Title: Techno-Functional Lead (HCP & R&D)

Job Summary:
Join our customer's team as a Techno-Functional Lead and play a pivotal role in advancing cutting-edge High-Performance Computing (HPC) and R&D platforms supporting clinical research. Leverage your expertise to bridge the gap between business needs and technical delivery, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage directly with business stakeholders to understand priorities and translate research requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Lead the architecture, deployment, and operational optimization of HPC environments for scientific and clinical research.
- Administer Posit Workbench, Connect, and Package Manager to facilitate advanced data science workflows.
- Configure and tune Slurm and Cgroups for efficient and controlled HPC resource management.
- Install, maintain, and optimize scientific computing tools such as MATLAB, MONOLIX, NONMEM, and PsN.
- Oversee Linux systems administration and management of Lustre file systems for high-performance data storage.
- Drive infrastructure automation using Terraform, Packer, and Ansible to streamline deployments and management.
- Design and integrate modular, decoupled infrastructure components, ensuring compliance and security in clinical trial environments.
- Deploy and manage scalable Kubernetes clusters and Docker containers in Azure, supporting dynamic research workloads.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in building and operating HPC environments, with deep knowledge of Slurm and Cgroups.
- Advanced Linux systems administration and experience with Lustre high-performance file systems.
- Expert-level proficiency with Kubernetes and Docker for container orchestration and management.
- Strong hands-on experience with infrastructure automation tools: Terraform, Packer, and Ansible.
- Proficiency in administering Posit Workbench and related data science platforms.
- Experience installing and supporting MATLAB, MONOLIX, NONMEM, and PsN in research environments.
- Solid understanding of Azure cloud fundamentals and integrating modular infrastructure components.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear articulation of requirements and solutions between stakeholders and technical teams.
- Relevant experience supporting clinical trial processes and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in clinical research or healthcare technology platforms.
- Certification in Azure or related cloud technologies.
- Proven leadership in multi-disciplinary technical teams within regulated industries.
