About the role

West Fraser offers a range of exciting career opportunities for individuals seeking challenging and rewarding careers. Quesnel Sawmill is currently recruiting for Summer Students position . You'll Do: Clean- Up: Clean‑up in the Sawmill and Planer involves sweeping sawdust and wood chips into piles, collecting and removing debris, and addressing blowdown. This work includes maintaining cleanliness around various machine centers while staying focused on efficiency and, most importantly, safe work practices.

Production: The Sawmill and Planer involves working collaboratively with coworkers and supervisors to operate equipment efficiently, meet or exceed production targets, and maintain consistent product quality. This includes coordinating workflow between machine centers, communicating issues promptly, and adhering to all safety and operational standards to minimize downtime and ensure steady output.

You have: Our applicants must currently be a student, enrolled in studies for September and a minimum of 18 years old. You are confident operating industrial equipment, performing cleanup, and working various shift schedules.

Compensation Package
