SUMMARY
The Catering Sanitation Driver Assistant supports sanitation and transportation operations by assisting with the cleaning, handling, and movement of catering equipment and supplies between the flight kitchen and aircraft. This role ensures all equipment is properly sanitized, organized, and staged while supporting drivers with safe and efficient loading, unloading, and transport activities. The position plays a key role in maintaining food safety standards, operational readiness, and on-time service delivery within Sky Café operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with loading and unloading catering equipment, carts, and supplies for assigned flights
- Support drivers during transport operations, including staging, positioning, and retrieval of equipment
- Clean, sanitize, and organize catering equipment, carts, and utensils in accordance with company and regulatory standards
- Ensure all equipment is properly handled, stored, and prepared for operational use
- Assist with receiving and returning equipment from aircraft to the flight kitchen
- Maintain proper separation and handling of clean and soiled equipment
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and safety procedures at all times
- Use required personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with company policies
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Communicate effectively with drivers, supervisors, and team members to support operational efficiency
- Adapt to changing operational needs in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
- Perform any additional duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS

18 years of age or older

Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment

Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
-
Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
-
Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry 50+ pounds regularly
-
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and remain active for extended periods (8+ hours)
-
Ability to work in varying temperatures, including hot, cold, and refrigerated environments
-
Ability to obtain and maintain required airport and security clearances (e.g., badging, RAIC as applicable)
-
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, including TSA and Customs requirements
-
Ability to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Reliable attendance and punctuality
