Job Description
As a Food & Beverage Analyst, you will play a key role in driving data-informed decisions across our F&B operations. Your primary focus will be to analyze financial and operational performance, provide insights on revenue, cost management, and sales mix, and support the Executive F&B Team and Restaurant Managers with actionable recommendations. You will also assist with forecasting, budgeting, and menu engineering, ensuring our venues remain profitable, relevant, and innovative.
Food & Beverage Overview
Our mission is to make Food & Beverage the heart and soul of all of our hotels by creating a free-standing food & beverage mentality in our hotels that is relevant, profitable and exciting; connecting us, our guests, and the community together.
Starting at $55,000 - $60,000 gross annually, based on previous experience & education
Job Duties Include:
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Collect, analyze, and interpret F&B financial and operational data including revenue, expenses, and cost of sales.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports for restaurants, bars, banquets, and in-room dining.
- Conduct daily audits such as Moneris compliance and beverage order value vs. revenue by outlet.
- Support month-end reporting (Inventory and Inventory reconciliation), accruals, and variance analysis against budget and forecast.
- Provide insights into sales mix, menu performance, and pricing strategies to optimize profitability.
Forecasting & Budget Support
- Assist in annual budgeting and reforecasting cycles for F&B outlets.
- Develop forecasting models to anticipate trends in revenue, costs, and guest demand.
- Monitor KPIs such as average check and beverage cost percentages to identify opportunities.
Business Support & Insights
- Partner with Restaurant Managers and the Executive F&B Team to analyze promotions, events, and seasonal initiatives.
- Contribute to menu engineering projects, providing data-driven recommendations for item placement, pricing, and product mix.
- Monitor industry trends and benchmarking data to ensure competitiveness and innovation.
Communication & Collaboration
- Serve as the data liaison between F&B leadership, Finance, and operational teams.
- Prepare presentations, dashboards, and visuals to communicate insights clearly to stakeholders.
- Support F&B leadership in decision-making with fact-based recommendations.
Qualifications
Your Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field as an assest
- Previous experience in data analysis, financial planning, or F&B analytics preferred.
