##Position Overview

Reporting to the Supervisor of Quality Control and Assurance, the Quality Documentation Clerk supports Apex Precision’s quality assurance team by preparing and organizing documentation, assisting with First Article Inspections (FAIs), and responding to basic customer requests for quality records. This role focuses on accuracy, organization, and ensuring all documentation is complete and aligned with aerospace requirements.

##Responsibilities:

• Prepare and compile quality documentation packages for customer orders (Certificates of Conformance, material certs, inspection reports, etc.)
• Assist in the preparation of First Article Inspection (FAI) reports (AS9102 forms)
• Review documents for completeness and accuracy before submission
• Respond to customer requests for documentation (e.g., sending certs, reports)
• Maintain organized digital and physical records for traceability and audits
• Support the Quality team with document control and filing
• Coordinate with internal teams (Quality, Production, Shipping) to gather required paperwork
• Flag missing or incorrect documentation to the appropriate team member
• Follow established procedures for documentation and compliance

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing, administration, or warehouse environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Comfortable working with paperwork and data entry
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office; ERP experience is an asset)
• Willingness to learn aerospace quality standards (AS9100 / AS9102)
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Good understanding of French and English to be able to compile quality documentation packages for customer orders
