Position Overview: The Food and Beverage Supervisor plays a pivotal role in the Food and Beverage department, responsible for assisting with overseeing the daily operations, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, and contributing to financial success. This role involves leading and supervising a team, maintaining operational excellence, and actively managing guest experiences.
Qualifications
Previous Supervisory experience in food & Beverage or hospitality preferred Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must have Food Handling Safety and Proserve (or attain before first shift)
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices A passion for hospitality and creating superior guest experiences
What the Role Delivers
Leadership Reflecting the organization's culture and values within the team.
Providing guests and staff with excellent service
Collaborating with the Food and Beverage Manager in planning and setting departmental goals.
Operational Excellence
Assisting with day-to-day food and beverage operations/serving, including restaurant, bar, and banquet services. Following established processes and recommending changes to improve service quality and efficiency.
Maintaining a clean safe workplace and practices
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Act as a role model for hospitality excellence and team culture. Participate in 80% of team culture events. Responsible for leading by example in the consistent delivery of top-notch service.
Guest Satisfaction
Promote the best guest experiences - predict the guests needs before they ask. monitoring guest feedback and taking appropriate actions to address concerns and enhance the guest experience. This role requires a proactive and adaptable individual with strong leadership skills, a customer-centric mindset, and a dedication to achieving departmental goals and guest satisfaction.
