Position Description
We are looking for an analytical and experienced individual to fill the role of Demand Planner.
The Demand Planner is responsible for working closely with the Channel Team and Sales Leaders to accurately forecast promotional and run rate business for their account.
You will own all forecasting activities associated with your account: develop unit forecasts based on demand patterns and business trends to improve forecast accuracy, perform root cause analysis of demand issues, and provide monthly Sales & Operations updates to the leadership team.
A successful candidate will have an analytical mindset, capable of taking the initiative, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and the ability to present and explain data in a logical way.
What You Will Do:
The Demand Planner assists the Sales and Channel teams to support the growth of their account while ensuring targets for fill rates and forecast accuracy are met.
In this position, the Demand Planner will:
- Collaborate with Sales, Channel, and Supply to develop forecasts at a SKU level, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Develop consistent communication and processes with Sales leadership and Channel to ensure promotions are supported and forecast expectations are clear
- Summarize and communicate the total dollar roll up for Sales and Product across all business units
- Assist Sales by analyzing ordering trends, highlighting items where forecasts do not match trends, and recommending adjustments to correct
- Proactively highlight and communicate any risks to inventory availability, working closely with Sales to mitigate potential issues.
- Continuously work to enhance internal processes and performance metrics, driving efficiency and alignment across teams.

- A strong multi-tasker capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- A team-player with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and communication.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Take the initiative to solve challenges using analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-driven and resourceful, with the initiative to identify and address challenges using analytical and problem-solving skills
- A strong desire to seek out opportunities for process improvement and optimize key performance metrics.
What You Have Done:
- Minimum 2 years of Supply Chain, Demand Planning or Order Management experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in business, operations, or another relevant field
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office with the ability to manipulate data through Excel
