About the Opportunity
We are looking for a qualified team leader to manage our POD in Langley and provide effective guidance. You will be responsible for supervising, managing and motivating team members daily. As a POD leader, you will be the contact point for all team members in the POD. Your communication skills should be excellent, and you should be able to act proactively to ensure smooth team operations and effective collaboration. The POD consists of service, projects, and client relations personnel, it will be your responsibility to maintain a bird’s eye view of what is happening in your POD.
This position reports to the Director of Managed Services and the hours are Monday to Friday from 8 AM – 5 PM, having a 1-hour lunch break.
- Responsibilities

Creating an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture

Setting and maintaining team goals as developed by Service Manager

Recruiting, developing and training Pod team members including performing performance evaluations

Discovering training needs and provide coaching
-
Completing one on one's with individual team members
-
Managing onsite requirements
-
Balancing workloads across your technical team
-
Working with client care to foster strong relationships between your team and TLC clients
-
Removing roadblocks and providing clarity to problem tickets
-
Holding your team accountable to the service standards and SOPs
-
Working with TLC leadership to help drive positive change
-
Gauging facility improvements/needs
-
Reporting fleet vehicle condition for the office
-
Directly offering technical assistance to the team
-
Providing hands-on technical support for complex tickets
-
Offering process assistance to team
-
Coverage for other Pod Leaders as required

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- 1-2 years experience as a team leader or supervisor
- Excellent communication and leadership
- 2-5 years technical experience
- Organizational and time-management
- Strong Decision-making ability
- Strong interpersonal skills for both internal and external facing situations
Candidates who are selected will be asked to supply the following:

Successful completion of a Criminal Background Check

Clean driving record, driver’s abstract and claims history letter
