About the role
We are looking for a Design and Production Engineer. You will have a leading role in finding technical solutions to carry out visual concepts coming from the Design team as closely as possible for all BRP products. You will also design and produce texts and pictograms of safety and regulatory warning labels in collaboration with the legal and product compliance department.
As part of your role, you’ll be significantly contributing to the organization's growth. You’ll be at the forefront of bringing a wide range of new talent to BRP.
You’ll Have The Opportunity To

Participate actively in the development of solutions for the decals of all BRP products and projects (new and existing products).

Design decals based on multiple criteria.

combination of materials (substrates, adhesives, inks, lamination, finishes…).
-
shapes and textures of the receiving surfaces.
-
exposure to the elements (localisation vs risk of wear, wear and tear of vehicles).
-
Assuring the compliance with standards of various authorities (certifications / security warnings).
-
Develop performance criteria, production processes and validation plans. Improve the existing tools, methods and procedures.

Act as a leader with colleagues, suppliers, engineering, design, purchasing, production, marketing, quality assurance, manufacturing engineering, workshop and vehicle certification and safety teams.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- General knowledge in materials (steel, aluminum, plastics, paints).
- Skill in project management.
- Communication skills.
- Teamwork and leadership.
- Independent and able to navigate in a constantly evolving environment.
- Available for occasional travel to our different manufacturing sites.
- Ability to communicate in French and in English with internal and external stakeholders outside of Quebec or unilingual English speakers on a daily basis;
