We’re looking for a Maintenance Technician & Dishwasher to join our Office Operations team at our headquarters located in Montreal . In this role, you’ll make sure our office and kitchen are running smoothly, clean, and fully stocked every day. You’ll support the Office Manager with daily maintenance routines, office setups, and operational projects — all while helping keep our space welcoming and ready for our employees.
This position is hands-on, physical, and essential to the day-to-day life of the office. If you’re someone who takes pride in keeping things organized, functional, and spotless, this could be a great fit.
What You’ll Be Doing Daily Operations & Maintenance
- Maintain bathrooms: refill hand paper, toilet paper, soap dispensers, and empty garbage bins
- Collect and dispose of garbage in kitchens and bathrooms
- Conduct daily office tours to check temperature, air quality, and general maintenance needs
- Manage ventilation: adjust temperature and report irregularities
- Report cleaning inconsistencies to the Office Manager
Kitchen & Pantry
- Ensure all kitchen areas are clean and organized (floors, surfaces, dish racks, sinks, dry mats, and garbage)
- Operate a commercial dishwasher and ensure dishes are cleaned, dried, and properly stored throughout the day
- Manage pantry inventory: order weekly groceries, fruit, bagels, coffee products, milk, and sugar
- Unpack deliveries (food, beverages, furniture, cleaning supplies) and ensure proper stock rotation
- Restock pantry and monitor coffee and milk supplies
- Maintain and clean coffee machines daily (start-up, milk cleaning, and regular maintenance)
- Clean the ice machine when necessary
Furniture & Equipment
- Assemble and distribute furniture such as standing desks, filing cabinets, and other office equipment
- Move and organize furniture as needed for office reconfiguration or events
- Manage storage areas and maintain inventory organization
Suppliers & Deliveries
- Receive and manage deliveries (bagels, milk, cleaning products, furniture, etc.)
- Establish contact with vendors and ensure timely follow-up on invoices and deliveries
- Keep track of maintenance services and provide daily updates or recommendations to the Office Manager
What You Need To Bring We’re a small and collaborative team based in Montreal, and we’re looking for someone who has:
- Strong French communication skills (spoken and written); English is an asse
- Experience in maintenance, cleaning, or facility operations
- Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, moving, carrying supplies or furniture)
- Comfort operating basic tools and performing small repairs or adjustments
- Excellent attention to detail, reliability, and pride in a job well done
- Positive attitude and willingness to help others and support the team
- Experience operating cleaning or kitchen equipment (dishwasher, coffee machine, etc.) is a plus

💡 Summary This is a full-time position (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM) based at our Montreal headquarters , offering a competitive salary of $42,000 annually plus benefits.
