Job Summary:
Reporting to the Quality Supervisor, the Quality Associate is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of activities for the Quality Department, in addition to coordinating with other quality groups and departments.
Salary Range: 50,000 - 55,000 annually.
Duties include:
- Collecting, reviewing, and filing documentation for batch production and quality systems
- Working with Operations employees to correct documentation or address document deficiencies
- Preparing batches for final release and completing batch release procedures
- Drafting, reviewing, and editing standard operating procedures
- Carefully maintaining digital and paper records of the Quality Department
- Inspecting and releasing incoming materials
- Performing product final release inspections
- Preparing samples, documentation, and coordinating shipping with Supply Chain team and external vendors
- Conducting non-conformance and corrective action investigations
- Contributing to the overall goals of the Quality Department by engaging in project discussions and group troubleshooting
- Assisting the Operations Department as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Experience working in a regulated production environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships
- Clear written communication skills
- Ability to work productively in a team environment
- Demonstrates initiative and consistently completes routine tasks independently
- Familiarity with quality management systems is an asset
