Job Duties

• Ensure timely updates of the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and operational logistics on a weekly basis. • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure the MPS runs in a cost and time effective manner. • Assess material risks to the defined MPS, actively seek out potential issues, and implement proactive measures to mitigate them. • Promptly issue Material Alerts or initiating Line Stoppages for identified risks, and collaborate with the team to take action to prevent disruptions. • Request Lab work for identified material risks. • Maintain tracking of Material Review Board (MRB) disposition, actively identify any potential impacts on the MPS and take necessary steps to address and communicate these impacts to the MRB. • Actively identify resource constraints (Inventory, Labor, Tools, Equipment) and suggest mitigation plans to senior staff to address these constraints effectively. • Participate in assessing and evaluating Production Orders, Drop-Ins, Pull-Ins, and Aircraft on Ground (AOG) situations. • Prepare and release the MPS Weekly Report with a high level of accountability for its accuracy and timeliness. • Define material usage campaigns aimed at utilizing material before its expiration, demonstrating a commitment to minimizing waste and optimizing resource utilization.

Employment Requirements:

Education • Diploma in business studies or similar.

Experience • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position.

Language • English language ability.

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Adept at effectively conveying information and fostering meaningful interactions with colleagues, stakeholders, and customers. • Be highly organized and efficiently manage tasks, priorities and deadline with precision and foresight. • Exhibit attention to detail by consistently ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks and projects undertaken. • Experience using Microsoft suite of products.

Wage • $35.00 per hour to $40.00 per hour.

Location of Work • On-site at 71 Hall Street, Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, B0J2C0. This is primarily an on-site position. Subject to managerial approval, hybrid work may be available for the Candidate to work from home up to two days per week.
