About the role

Job Description Senior Product Manager The Mission Own the strategic direction and performance of a specific product category. You will lead the full product lifecycle—from “big bet” innovations to minor renovations—reporting directly to the VP of Marketing.

Core Responsibilities Strategy & Roadmap: Define the multi-year category plan based on market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive gaps.

Lifecycle Management: Manage products from ideation through launch and eventual exit, ensuring all items align with the brand and USPs.

Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with Innovation, Sales, and Ops to translate concepts into product briefs and Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies.

Commercial Growth: Align with Sales on forecasts and provide the strategic inputs (positioning, RTBs, and claims) needed for retail success.

Data-Driven Oversight: Monitor category health via KPIs like market share, velocity, and gross margin to optimize the portfolio.

Success Metrics (KPIs) Market Share & Revenue: Driving Year-over-Year (YoY) growth in category profit.

Innovation Hit Rate: Meeting Year 1 targets for new launches.

Portfolio Health: Increasing SKU velocity and rationalizing underperforming products.

Timeline Delivery: Meeting roadmap milestones for new and existing lines.

Qualifications Experience: 5+ years in Product Management (CPG or manufacturing preferred).

Education: Degree in Business/Marketing (MBA is a bonus).

The “X-Factor”: Lived experience as a dog owner is required to authentically solve “pet parent” problems.

Skills: Strong analytical thinking and the ability to lead diverse teams through influence.

**Salary: $120,000 – $140,000
