Lakeview Colony School This posting is for a Permanent Part-Time (FTE 0.7) Educational Assistant Position at Lakeview Colony School, commencing August 25, 2025. Hours of work are 4.2 hours per day, schedule flexibility is available. Educational Assistants are an important part of the school team and promote engagement, participation and success of students. The successful applicant will support core subject areas in both small groups and in the classroom.
Qualifications
- Minimum Grade 12 education with at least one (1) year relevant childcare experience
- Post-secondary certificate from a recognized institution in Early Learning & Childcare, Youth Care Worker or equivalent program would be considered an asset

- genuinely appreciate working with children and demonstrate patience, show empathy, and help make learning fun;
- possess strong planning and organizational skills while showing initiative ;
- have excellent communication skills and a willingness to work independently

Living Sky School Division encompasses a wide geographic area including the Battlefords, many communities, villages, First Nation communities, and Hutterite colonies. We are located in the heart of wheat and oil country.
Currently, 28 schools are located in 19 communities. Our schools include PreK-12, elementary, high schools, and alternate schools with a population of approximately 5,300 students. Our diverse student population is reflected in a wide variety of programs that exist throughout the schools to meet the guidelines of the Saskatchewan Core Curriculum and the local needs of the community.
