About Us

Rabbit Lake, located in northern Saskatchewan, has produced over 200 million pounds of uranium concentrate since its inception. The uranium mined and milled at Rabbit Lake has been used for nuclear fuel products, which utilities around the world rely on to generate safe, reliable, emissions-free nuclear power. The Role

Reporting to the supervisor, process, your role will focus on ensuring the safe, effective, and efficient operation of all process areas. If you like working as part of a team where we look out for one another and collaborate to improve our performance, then we may have the right job for you.

In this role, you will:

  • Monitoring environmental, safety, and process controls.

  • Participate in corrective and preventative maintenance planning and implementation.

  • Safe execution of facility operator care rounds and troubleshooting issues as they arise.

  • Operate circuits according to our procedures and guidelines, including the line patrol, water treatment, and central control room.

  • Identify, document, and report any operational and maintenance concerns.

  • Support continual improvement throughout the operation.

  • Be expected to maintain ongoing participation with the site Emergency Response and Mine Rescue Team (ERT/MRT). As a member of the team, you will receive emergency response and mine rescue training to support our ability to safely address emergencies that might arise on site. This will include both surface and underground fire and rescue situations. You will be required to participate in first aid, fire and other emergency response exercises and scenarios. Participation on the ERT/MRT team will be subject to successful completion of medical testing.

Required:

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent

  • Three to five years of mill or process operation work experience, including industrial water treatment experience

  • Preference given to those with uranium operations experience

  • Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered

  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license

  • Team player attitude

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Willingness to give and receive honest, constructive feedback

  • Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft

  • Excellent safety and attendance record

Recommended:

  • Potable water treatment and/or wastewater treatment experience

  • Power engineering experience and/or certification

  • Background in mine rescue, emergency response, and/or first aid

Safety Sensitive Site

Preference will be given to Residents of Saskatchewan’s North (RSN).

The Rabbit Lake operation is located in northern Saskatchewan and operates on a rotational schedule. Employees commute to the site by aircraft from designated locations in Saskatchewan.
