Bloomworks Merchandising Inc. (formerly CMS) is a third party merchandising company in the live goods (plants) industry operating across Ontario, Quebec and the Maritimes. We service several Big Box Retailers by merchandising plants in their indoor and outdoor garden centres.

We are currently seeking a Visual Merchandising Territory Supervisor with a vehicle for the New Brunswick/Charlottetown area (store lists below).

Responsibilities:

• Supervisors will report directly to the Atlantic Manager
• Responsible for motivating and managing a team of Merchandisers
• Will train employees as well as provide feedback to team members
• Communicate daily with your Team as well as the Manager
• Must have a reliable vehicle - as you will drive to different store locations.
• Will communicate with store contacts, manage inventory supplies and order product to maintain adequate stocks levels in the garden centers.
• Responsible for unloading plant deliveries and merchandising them in garden centres to create an organized and pleasant customer shopping experience.
• Responsible for completing online reports (including pictures) through a free mobile app.
• No sales service involved, although a friendly presence is required for the position as you will be expected to establish positive relationships with garden centre management staff
• The ability to follow direction and have a keen eye for attention to detail.
• This role entails about 90% being in the field and 5-10% admin / computer work

Requirements:

• University or college education in horticulture considered an asset.
• Experience in a Supervisory or team lead role.
• A friendly and approachable attitude is required as you will be expected to establish and build relationships with Customers, the Bloomworks Management Team and our Clients.
• Must be able to follow direction from the Management Team as well as show initiative and prioritize tasks independently.
• Mobile device proficiency. Experience using Microsoft Excel
• Personal vehicle to travel between locations

Compensation:

• Seasonal position, potential to become permanent
• $21/hour
• Monthly car allowance
• Monthly phone allowance
• Drive time to store locations will be compensated
• Gas reimbursement

Hours:

• Generally, daytime weekday hours. Will be expected to check and respond to time sensitive emails outside of normal working hours.
• Weekend work will be required during the Spring Season. May be required to work more than 8 hours in a day (in spring season and for promotional periods).

**Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:**Must be physically capable of performing all duties as assigned which may include: Standing/Working for long periods depending on delivery sizes; Working outside in the elements; Fast-paced environment; Tight deadlines; Repetitive tasks; Handling and lifting heavy loads at times-up to 50 lbs.
