About the Role
A well-established automotive manufacturing supplier is seeking a Web Application Developer to support enterprise web applications and collaboration solutions. This role focuses on SharePoint Online, Microsoft Power Platform, and related technologies to improve business processes, automation, and data insights.
The successful candidate will be proactive, technically strong, and capable of working independently and collaboratively to deliver scalable, user-friendly solutions.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain SharePoint Online and Power Platform solutions
- Develop Power Apps, Power Automate workflows, and Power BI dashboards
- Build custom SharePoint Online sites, collaboration portals, and enterprise applications
- Implement low-code/no-code solutions to automate processes and integrate data
- Participate in full project lifecycle: discovery, design, build, test, and deployment
- Create and maintain project documentation, including requirements, process flows, and reports
- Collaborate with IT teams, business units, and third-party vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Conduct root-cause analysis and recommend system improvements
- Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI and modern programming frameworks, for potential application
- Support end-user adoption, training, and documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of SharePoint development experience, including apps, workflows, and custom solutions
- Strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
- Proficiency in: SPFx, CSOM, JavaScript, jQuery, ASP.NET, C#, PowerShell, HTML, CSS
- Experience with SQL databases, advanced queries, and stored procedures
- Familiarity with Git/version control and integration of SharePoint with enterprise systems
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Valid Ontario driver’s license for occasional site visits
Assets (Nice-to-Have)
- Experience with React, Node.js, Angular, Python, REST APIs, JSON
- Enterprise-scale cloud or hybrid infrastructure experience
- Experience handling large datasets in Power Query, Dataverse, or Power BI
