The Senior Salesforce Administrator plays a critical role in shaping and evolving the Salesforce ecosystem at [Company Name]. This position is responsible for driving continuous improvement across the platform by partnering closely with business stakeholders, gathering and translating requirements, and delivering scalable, best-practice solutions that align with strategic objectives.
The ideal candidate is deeply knowledgeable about the Salesforce platform and passionate about creating an exceptional user experience. This role requires hands-on expertise across user management, configuration, governance, and release management, as well as strong communication skills to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels. The Senior Salesforce Administrator will also contribute to platform roadmap planning, change management, and user adoption initiatives, ensuring Salesforce remains a high-impact, business-enabling tool.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead a team of Salesforce Administrators supporting two distinct Salesforce instances:
– Investment & Corporate Banking
– Equity Sales & Research
- Partner with business stakeholders to define and manage the Salesforce product roadmap and priorities
- Drive governance, change management, and release planning
- Manage all aspects of user and license administration
- Design and implement Salesforce configuration changes (Flows, approvals, layouts, dashboards, reports, etc.)
- Maintain sandbox environments and support DevOps/release management
- Gather requirements and deliver scalable, user-focused solutions
- Manage a high volume of Salesforce user requests and actively monitor and respond to the Salesforce user feedback mailbox
- Monitor, analyze, and synthesize user feedback to identify trends, issues, and enhancement opportunities
- Monitor and improve user adoption
- Manage user support and training
- Maintain technical and user documentation
- Improve data quality through automation and governance
- Support system health, security reviews, and Salesforce Optimizer
- Manage integrations and third-party vendors
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED:
- Minimum of five years of hands-on Salesforce Administration experience
- Strong Salesforce platform knowledge
PREFERRED:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
REQUIRED:
- Proactive mindset with strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to design scalable Salesforce solutions
- Experience managing high volumes of user requests and feedback-driven enhancements
- Experience with change management and governance
- Strong documentation and training experience
- DevOps/release management experience
PREFERRED:
- Salesforce Administrator certification
- Additional Salesforce certifications
- Working knowledge of Apex and triggers
- Active participation in the Salesforce community
Salary:
$86,000.00 - $160,000.00

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
