  • Project period is from late January 2026 to end of March 2026.

About The Role We are looking for Dispatch Coordinators (from late January to end of March 2026) for the winter road project who will be responsible for processing all inbound and outbound winter road paperwork, monitor and record data into the Joint Venture Winter Road tracking system, notify support services and warehouse of incoming freight and coordinate the movement of winter road trucks with the Field Marshals.

Reporting to the Specialist, Logistics, this role is accountable to ensure business systems data is being effectively maintained. You will be located at the Lac de Gras Mine site, working on a 3 weeks on / 1 week off rotational schedule with alternating day and night shifts. Target project duration is from late January 2026 to end of March 2026 .

You will be responsible for

  • Processing truck drivers in queue for off-loading.

  • Directing truck drivers to lounge and south camp access for meals/rest and overnight stay.

  • Recording accurate data into trip tickets and carrier documents and monitoring and recording data into Joint Venture Winter Road tracking system.

  • Providing information to Warehouse Shift Supervisors, support services, contractors and carriers.

  • Coordinating truck/freight movement with Field Marshallers and support services.

  • Ensuring that clear, accurate and timely reporting is achieved and maintained.

  • Working and promoting safety within the winter road environment by

  • Immediately reporting all incidents and accidents to your immediate supervisor – the Specialist, Logistics

  • Fostering and developing a safety culture within dispatch

  • Promoting a respectful workplace

  • Identifying safety concerns to the crew and engage the crew on how to manage these risks

  • Adhering to all safety standards and policies, and participating in the daily toolbox meeting

What You’ll Bring To be successfully considered for this role, you will have

  • Grade 12 education or higher.
  • Minimum 2 years’ administrative experience with a demonstrated advancement of responsibility.
  • Experience using a 2-way radio.
  • Good computer skills with a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • A strong commitment to safety.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently in a results-oriented environment.
  • Excellent oral, written and active listening skills.
  • Ability to work in high stress situations and resolve issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability and experience to work effectively with people from different cultures.
  • Possesses cultural awareness and sensitivity.
  • Demonstrates a dedication to the company and the position and be committed to positive health, safety, environment and quality practices.
  • Respectful, self-motivated, disciplined and understand the necessity for confidentiality in all business and personal matters.

Northern residency and experience working in a cross-cultural environment, coupled with knowledge of the unique challenges and opportunities presented to those living in the North, are assets.
