Position Description

The Program Manager role is responsible for planning and governance and for overseeing the successful delivery of the Program. The Program Manager must have practical experience of having been a Project Manager for large and complex initiatives in the energy sector with CC&B expertise.

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Manage the CC&B implementation for a utility company. This includes managing all the different functional workstreams as well as coordinating with the business groups.
• Ensuring the effective delivery of project activities, within approved scope, schedule and budget, while ensuring client satisfaction;
• Continually seeking opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships, including promoting client collaboration on the resolution of any disputes or issues that arise during the project;
• Facilitating the definition of clear and attainable project objectives,
• Managing project financials and budget to ensure expected project margin / profitability is met;
• Maintaining the healthy management of your project by mitigating risks and defining resolution plans for addressing issues;
• Managing 3rd party vendors as it relates to the program
• Managing multiple workstreams along with their interdependencies
• Clearly articulating risks, impacts and mitigations
• Ensuring the client's outcomes and objectives are met
• Maintaining the project plan with all relevant information documented & updated on an ongoing basis
• Managing the communication clearly and articulately to ensure stakeholders are kept informed
• Assisting in the preparation of proposals in conjunction with sales and delivery as required;
• Developing detailed statements of work, estimates and work schedules;
• Mentoring team members and junior Project Managers
• Providing and delivering Executive status reports

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role Education:

• Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline or equivalent work experience
• PMP designation.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of Project Management experience, including Program Management experience
• 10+ year of managing large-scale, complex projects in a complex, multi-geographical environment
• Must have CC&B project management experience
• Must have knowledge of CC&B functional workstreams
• Must have experience working in the Utility sector
• PMI certification.
• Demonstrated success establishing and maintain Executive-level relationships
• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
