About the job
As a member of the Capital Project Unit, you will:
- Lead and coordinate the end to end review of health capital redevelopment project submissions.
- Assess proposals to ensure alignment with ministry priorities, policy direction, and industry best practices.
- Work closely with Home and Community Care Support Services organizations/Ontario Health to ensure capital planning reflects local service needs.
- Represent the health capital program in discussions with partners, stakeholders, and cross ministry working groups.
- Provide strategic advice, analysis, and recommendations to support decision making.

You have:
- experience managing multiple complex projects with competing priorities.
- the ability to provide clear direction, support team collaboration, and offer strategic advice to advance project outcomes.
Program and Policy Knowledge
You can:
- understand health capital planning, funding models, and governance structures.
- interpret and apply legislation, policy, and program requirements to project assessments.
Stakeholder and Relationship Management
You can:
- build strong, productive relationships with internal and external partners.
- demonstrate sound judgement and political acuity when navigating sensitive or high profile issues.
Communication
You can:
- communicate clearly and effectively in writing and verbally.
- prepare briefings, provide advice, and deliver presentations to diverse audiences
Analytical and Technical Skills
You have:
- strong research, analytical, and problem solving abilities.
- experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and database applications to support analysis and reporting.
