Position #: 175703 Expected Start Date: May 17, 2026 Union: SUN Facility: Buffalo Narrows Health Centre City/Town: Buffalo Narrows Department: Primary Care Sites Type: Full-time regular FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days Number of Hours per Rotation: 112 hours per 3 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Field Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse Practitioner $52.590 to $62.910 Travel Required: Yes Job Description: The Nurse Practitioner blends an in-depth knowledge of nursing with their legal authority and autonomy to order diagnostic tests, prescribe pharmaceuticals and perform specific procedures in the management and treatment of illnesses and stable chronic conditions. The practice involves working within the nursing program objectives, guidelines, and policies and procedures; building partnerships, completing community needs assessments; supporting inter-professional collaboration; and participating in continuous improvements through evaluative processes/projects.
