As a Steward, you will play an essential role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall efficiency of our kitchen and back-of-house operations. You will support the culinary and Food & Beverage teams by ensuring all equipment, dishes, and work areas meet the highest standards of hygiene and safety.

What you will be doing:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen and stewarding areas
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Ensure all sanitation and hygiene standards are consistently met, in line with health and safety regulations
- Support the culinary team with basic tasks such as waste removal, recycling, and restocking supplies
- Operate dishwashing machines and ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment
- Keep all storage areas clean, organized, and properly stocked
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries as required
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling of chemicals and equipment
- Support team members and contribute to a positive and efficient working environment
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
- Previous experience in a stewarding or kitchen environment is an asset, but not required
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Your team and working environment:
You will be part of a dedicated stewarding team that plays a key role in supporting kitchen operations. Our environment is fast-paced, team-oriented, and focused on maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
Visa requirements: Successful candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates with Canadian work authorization.
