As the Private Events Manager, you will directly contribute to the overall success of a multi-million-dollar restaurant and its people. This role offers the opportunity to be trained in all aspects of Reservations & Events, with a focus on private event coordination. As a Private Events Coordinator, you are skilled in sales-building, meeting quotas, cold calling, and booking events (though prior knowledge of event management is not required). Work alongside the Private Events Senior Operator and Junior In-Store Operator. For the right candidate, there is flexibility to work from home, which can be discussed in more detail. This role offers opportunities for growth and development in the events and reservations space.

This role is supporting both the JOEY King Street and JOEY Toronto Eaton Centre locations.

Requirements

  • 1-3+ years of experience in event coordination and booking
  • Proven ability to build sales, meet quotas through various strategies of networking and promotion
  • Attention to detail with integrity to elevate the guest experience
  • Highly organized, accountable and ability to prioritize
  • Professional in written and spoken communication and brand representation
