About the Position: STACKT’s marketing team is looking for someone who is passionate about marketing and communications within the arts and culture, hospitality and retail industries. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator will support the department in promoting STACKT (STACKT market, STACKTˣ, and future ventures) across key consumer-facing channels, including web, email, media, and on-site.
Role + Responsibilities: Including but not limited to:
Digital Content & Social Media Content Creation: Produce engaging visual content for social (Reels, Carousels, TikToks), digital, email, and web channels, including photography, event capture, and video. Support the execution of monthly newsletters, including copywriting, image selection, graphic design, and programming. Community Management: Act as the brand voice by responding to inquiries and comments on social media and Google My Business in a timely manner.
Web & Listings Management Website Maintenance: Manage all website listings (events, workshops, menus, store openings) and ensure seasonal verbiage and imagery align with STACKT’s brand tone. External Listings: List STACKT-owned festivals and events on partner websites and key media outlets to drive external discovery. Google Presence: Maintain accuracy of Google My Business profiles and manage customer inquiries on the platform.
On-Site Execution & Signage Signage Production: Lead the end-to-end process for on-site signage, including graphic design, printing, installation, and tear-down according to the signage strategy. Event Support: Provide hands-on, on-site execution support for major festivals and programming as needed.
Reporting & Administration Analytics: Capture data and generate monthly performance reports for email, web, social media, and digital campaigns. Media Tracking: Pull monthly media impression results using Meltwater. Internal Liaison: Work with Events, F&B, and Marketplace departments to ensure their promotional needs are met. Departmental Ops: Maintain comprehensive records, including design files, invoices, and project folders.
About The Candidate You are a multi-tasker who takes pride in your work and has a keen attention to detail. You have a strong aptitude for writing engaging copy while staying true to a brand’s tone. You love to think of unique ways to engage and grow an audience. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, can effectively prioritize multiple projects, and enjoy interacting with multiple departments. Lastly, you live and breathe Toronto’s culture, and are an avid fan of art, music, food, shopping, small business, and community building.
You Have: 1-3 years of experience working in Marketing, preferably within an Events/Hospitality setting The nature of the role is to capture and convey the STACKT experience on-site and as such, this role is required 5 days in office. Occasional evening or weekend work would be required for event & festival coverage. Great communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to work well with all levels in the company Strong copywriting skills Graphic Design Experience (Adobe Suite, Canva) Basic knowledge of key digital marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Meltwater, Google Ads, Google My Business, Google Analytics, QR Codes) considered an asset Experience with website management (uploading web listings, changing imagery, crafting copy) considered an asset Understanding of consumer trends and target audiences A willingness to learn new platforms and strategies Ability to work with a team and independently
