Your Opportunity:

Come experience the unique rewards of rural healthcare! We have an exciting opportunity for a Mental Health Therapist to provide crisis intervention, assessment, consultation, referral, and treatment services at the High Prairie Health Complex. In this vital role, you'll provide services in a flexible and responsive manner in order to meet client needs and foster a shared care approach to mental health services. You'll work with a multi‑disciplinary team and interact with clients through walk‑in services, booked appointments and occasional travel to our satellite communities. Having an understanding and respect for Indigenous culture, history, and health practices is essential. With nearby parks, trails, and lakes, the friendly town of High Prairie is a great place to enjoy ATVing, hiking, biking, golfing, fishing and birdwatching. In addition to a competitive rate of pay, Alberta Health Services currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non‑pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.
