About the role

Our client, a growing discretionary portfolio management firm, is seeking a relationship-driven Portfolio Manager – Client Relationship Manager to join their client-facing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an investment professional who enjoys building long-term client relationships, supporting business development, and delivering a high-touch wealth management experience in a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment. Benefits & Perks Competitive compensation ($110K–$150K base + bonus) Fully remote opportunity (candidates must reside in Ontario or Alberta) Exposure to an experienced investment team and discretionary investment platform Opportunity for career growth within a growing entrepreneurial firm Collaborative, client-focused culture with strong leadership support Responsibilities Support prospect meetings, investment presentations, and client follow-ups Lead the client onboarding process, including account documentation and compliance coordination Build and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth clients Deliver exceptional, high-touch client service and ongoing portfolio support Partner closely with Portfolio Managers and internal teams to enhance the client experience Contribute to business development initiatives and support firm growth Qualification CFA Level I completed or CIM designation required Registered as a Portfolio Manager (or eligible for registration) 5+ years of experience in wealth management, portfolio management, or client relationship management Strong understanding of discretionary portfolios, investment products, and Canadian regulatory requirements Experience working with high-net-worth clients in a fast-paced, client-focused environment Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with a strong relationship-management mindset
