What the role is about:

You have a strong desire to help people and to create memorable interactions with guests and co-workers. You will be a valued member of the Food & Beverage team responsible for preparing and serving F&B items for the Garden Café, Food Court and Coffee Market locations. You are willing to learn and grow in you new role by supporting the bar & lounge and event operations teams when required.

What you will be doing:

• Provide friendly, prompt and efficient service to guests
• Maintain a clean working environment, including displays, fridges, freezers and back of the house areas
• Create lattes, cappuccinos, non-fat half-vanilla, 1/4 decaf-3/4 high octane frappuccinos as a willing and enthusiastic barista
• Perform simple food preparation duties such as warming up sandwiches and pastries
• Count and record inventory
• Process and settle cash and credit card charges.

What you bring:

• If you are over the age of 18, you have a valid ProServe certification or a willingness to attain one
• You have previous experience in a related customer service role or a strong desire to help customers
• You have handled cash
• You are a great communicator and love talking with guests and co-workers
• You prefer to work as a member of a great team, but can also excel when you work independently.

You will be:

• Walking and standing up for extended periods of time
• Frequently pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying up to 25lbs
• Mobile and working in a physical environment
• Working a schedule that includes evenings, weekends and holidays when necessary
• Having a fabulous time learning and growing with your new team.
