Now hiring! Quality Analyst I Regina, SK (Onsite) We are looking for a Quality Analyst I to join our Agricultural Solutions team in Regina, SK.

As the Quality Analyst I, you will be accountable to the QA/QC Supervisor for testing, approval and release or raw materials coming into and finished goods being sold out of the Regina Formulation facility. The individual ensures that the quality of our raw materials and our products always meets our customers’ highest expectations.
As a Quality Analyst I, you create chemistry by...
- Performing all duties following good laboratory practices in the safest manner possible while participating in the Exposure Reduction Process.
- Performing routine QC testing, including raw materials, in process, finished good samples, cross contamination and microbial contamination testing and also making product release decisions.
- Calibrating, troubleshooting, and performing routine maintenance on all analytical instrumentation to ensure high confidence in the data and avoid costly service calls.
- Supporting non-conformance investigations.
- Preparing and analyzing control samples and maintaining control charts to statistically verify the validity of the analytical data and validate results from analytical equipment.
- Ensuring adequate quantities of supplies and chemicals are on hand to perform the QC testing of the various products and order supplies as needed.
- Writing and updating analytical test methods and SOP’s within the document management system to ensure that proper SOP’s are being used. Support Continuous improvement projects.
If you have...
- A Bachelor’s degree in science with a major in Chemistry, Microbiology or a related discipline.
- Experience using custom software packages in conjunction with analytical instrumentation to obtain and manipulate analytical data such as Agilent OpenLAB and Chemstation, Waters MassLynx, and Bruker Vertex Opus.
- Good understanding of the theory and practice of analytical chemistry techniques.
- Good understanding of analytical instrumentation, especially in the areas of high-performance liquid chromatography and infrared spectrometry.
- Knowledge of computers and software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, and OneNote is required. Knowledge of SAP is an asset.
- A basic understanding of good laboratory practices and safety practices.
