Sims Corner Steakhouse & Oyster Bar
At Sims Corner, we believe that perfectly aged steaks, big wines, and genuine hospitality make for an incredible guest experience. Our culinary team has been a major pillar in what makes us Atlantic Canada's premier steakhouse. We focus on fresh Island raised products, using one hundred percent Island beef, along with fresh locally sourced produce.
As a Server, You Will
- Take orders from guests, ensuring accuracy and prompt service
- Prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer, and non-alcoholic beverages
- Relay menu items and products to provide optimum guest service
- Enforce provincial liquor legislation and regulations
- Clean draft beer system, bar area and glassware
- Provide seamless guest service while ensuring they have a memorable experience by providing timely service with an upbeat personality
- Work alongside the restaurant team to establish a safe and fun atmosphere
Who You Are
- Positive and outgoing personality
- Passion for building strong relationships with team members, our guests, and the community
- A love for learning - We will be teaching you lots about craft beer, wine
- Flexibility - Our team will work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings and weekends
- A desire to have fun at work, when you have fun our guests do too
What You Bring
- Responsible beverage certificate is required
- Minimum one year of serving experience
- Knowledge of Aloha POS is an asset
