About the role

We are a high-caliber team building the sensing and AI infrastructure for autonomous biomanufacturing: real-time electrochemical biosensors, closed-loop AI process control, and our bioreactor platform. We work alongside major technology partners in the sensing, computing, and industrial automation space. This is not a large-company role. We hire people who personally do the work at the highest level.

Role Summary

You will personally own our strategic partner relationships from first contact through ongoing management. This is not a sales role, and it is not a role where relationships get handed off to someone else once signed — you own them, start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

Personally identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships, including technology partners, channel partners, and licensing partners. Serve as the primary point of contact and relationship owner for key strategic partners over the life of the relationship. Negotiate partnership terms and agreements directly. Coordinate cross-functionally with technical, quality, and sales colleagues to support successful partner integration. Represent the company in partner-facing meetings, industry conferences, and forums. Track partnership health and performance and proactively identify new opportunities. Maintain ongoing relationship health well beyond the signing of an agreement.

Requirements

Extensive experience in the pharmaceutical, biomanufacturing, biotechnology, or a closely related life sciences industry. Equivalent experience gained through roles focused on building partnerships, managing strategic relationships, driving business growth, or leading cross-functional initiatives will also be considered. PhD, Master’s, or Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in biotechnology, biochemistry, molecular biology, chemical engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, or another relevant life sciences discipline. Proven track record of building and maintaining senior-level relationships with pharmaceutical, biomanufacturing, CDMO, or related industry partners Significant experience personally owning strategic partnership relationships in life sciences, biomanufacturing, or an adjacent technology sector. Strong relationship-management and negotiation skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and own relationships end-to-end without a supporting team. Willingness and ability to travel as needed. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have

Existing network within pharmaceutical, CDMO, or industrial biomanufacturing and technology partner ecosystems. Experience structuring or managing technology licensing agreements.
