We are seeking a results-driven Sales Representative to join our client’s team in Cambridge, ON
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the food manufacturing and foodservice sector.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
- Conduct product presentations, plant visits, and trade show participation to promote offerings.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve sales targets and ensure client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams (production, logistics, and customer service) to meet client needs.
- Maintain accurate sales records and update CRM systems regularly.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to develop effective sales strategies.
- Prepare and deliver sales reports to management on progress and performance.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Food Science, or a related field (preferred).
- 2–5 years of sales experience in the food manufacturing or foodservice industry.
- Strong understanding of the food production process and supply chain logistics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client accounts.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, trade shows, and plant visits as required.
