SUMMER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM:
Denison is recruiting for several summer internship opportunities for university students based in Saskatoon. The

work terms run from May to August, and all internships are paid positions. Opportunities are available in the

following areas of study:

  • Geology
  • Metallurgy
  • Hydrogeology
  • Environmental Sciences
  • Engineering

Students who are hired to work in the Saskatoon office follow regular Monday to Friday office hours. Students who

work in field locations work a fourteen day in / fourteen day out rotation. Certain roles will offer the opportunity of a

mixed office / field location experience.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a motivated university student currently enrolled in a metallurgy, materials engineering, or related

program to join our team. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced professionals to support

metallurgical testing, process optimization, and quality control initiatives. The Metallurgical Student will report to

the Principal Metallurgist and will work primarily in office with occasional travel to the Company’s field location(s).

Our ideal candidate:

  • Currently enrolled in a university program in Metallurgy, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related

field.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic knowledge of metallurgical processes.
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
  • Safety-conscious with a strong attention to detail.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review laboratory tests and analyses on metals, ores, and other materials.
  • Assist in process development and optimization for metallurgical operations.
  • Collect and interpret data from metallurgical tests and prepare technical reports.
  • Assist with research and development projects related in-situ recovery (ISR) mining.
  • Collaborate with other team members to solve technical challenges.
