Based in the Sherwood Park location, the Bilingual Debt Relief Examiner serves as the primary point of contact for customers submitting a claim. The Bilingual Debt Relief Examiner provides initial responses to customers or third-party inquiries, reviews required documentation, calculates and processes the claims.
Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 9am to 6pm and Friday 9am to 5 pm.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Managing the claim general incoming inbox.
- Manage incoming customer, third-party, and Dealer representative calls.
- Communicate directly with customers, their representatives, and financial institutions (verbally and in writing).
- Identify active certificates, generate claims documents, and prepare files for assignment.
- Maintains highly accurate and detailed client contact notes of all customer queries and claims (initiated/pending/open/closed) queries.
- Prepare claims correspondence and entitlement cheques for mail/courier delivery.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years experience working in a professional office environment with excellent communication skills is required.
- Post-secondary business or insurance certificate or diploma would be considered an asset.
- Working in the automotive industry interacting with frontline customers via telephone and email would be preferred and considered a key asset.
- Experience with sales contracts, finance agreements, statements, proof of loss documents, and police reports is preferred.
- PC literate, fully systems competent with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) is required.
