As a Medical Field Representative , you will focus on developing trusted, compliant, and value-driven partnerships with physicians and clinic staff to support appropriate referral of patients for hearing assessment and care. The Medical Field Representative brings experience from medical, pharmaceutical, device, or healthcare services sales and understands how to operate effectively within Canada’s publicly funded healthcare environment.
Success in this role depends on credibility, relationship management, and the ability to demonstrate how high-quality hearing care supports physician goals, patient outcomes, and continuity of care. This is a field-based role with direct ownership of territory growth, requiring a high degree of independence, professionalism, and long-term relationship focus.
Key Responsibilities:

Establish and maintain trusted relationships with family physicians, ENTs, geriatricians, internists, and allied healthcare providers, serving as the primary liaison between physician offices and hearing care clinics.

Develop and execute a structured territory plan to grow appropriate referral pathways through consistent engagement, follow-up, and service excellence.

Educate physicians and clinic staff on the prevalence and impact of untreated hearing loss, the patient journey, and clinical standards grounded in evidence-based care.

Lead in-office education sessions and approved initiatives (e.g., lunch-and-learns) while communicating in a manner that respects physicians’ time and clinical priorities.

Collaborate with marketing, clinical, and leadership teams to tailor outreach strategies, support regional initiatives, and strengthen local market presence.

Maintain accurate CRM documentation, monitor referral trends and territory performance, and ensure full compliance with provincial regulations, privacy requirements, and ethical standards in a primarily field-based, hybrid role.
Qualifications in this role include, but are not limited to:

3+ years of experience in medical sales, pharmaceutical sales, medical devices, diagnostics, or healthcare services.

Demonstrated success building new professional relationships with physician offices.
-
Experience working independently in a field-based role with responsibility for territory growth.

Strong understanding of professional selling within a non-commissioned, referral-based healthcare environment.
-
Excellent communication and relationship-management skills.
-
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
-
Experience working within the Canadian healthcare system.
-
Familiarity with provincial healthcare structures and referral pathways.
-
Experience engaging with and educating members of primary care practices and specialty clinics.
-
Background or interest in hearing healthcare, audiology, or allied health services.
-
Experience using CRM systems and tracking field activity.
-
Professional and credible relationship builder, confident initiating and sustaining long-term physician partnerships.

Highly organized and self-directed, with the ability to effectively manage a large territory and multiple priorities.

Patient-focused and results-driven, operating with strong ethical standards and respect for clinical decision-making.
Compensation: Based on qualifications we anticipate the hiring range will be $95,000-$115,000 CAD plus 10% annual incentive and vehicle allowance or mileage reimbursement
Hybrid Work: This is a hybrid field and office-based role with will require presence in our Mississauga, Ontario office from time to time
