About the Role
Reporting to the Customer Experience Supervisor, the CSD Administration Assistant is part of the programs and services team. The CSD Administration Assistant is an enthusiastic, positive, and detail-oriented individual who takes pride in a job well done and maintains a professional, outgoing demeanor. This role is responsible for reviewing, understanding, and updating training policies, procedures, and materials, while performing administrative duties and providing occasional support to the Customer Experience Team.
This is a flexible position whose work schedule is variable and may include an irregular schedule of not less than three (3) hours per shift and up to thirty-five (35) hours per week.
Responsibilities
Training & Development
- Assist in the development and delivery of Customer Service Centre staff training on registration, payments, and event processing in the recreation management platform (ACTIVENet).
- Review and revise training videos, materials, and modules in alignment with current policies and service standards.
- Support on-site coaching and mentoring of casual student employees during initial shadow shift training.
Administrative Support
- Complete administrative duties such as documentation, scheduling, and tracking staff training progress as assigned.
- Assist the Customer Experience Desk during peak times or special events as needed.
Coaching, Mentorship & Team Collaboration

Coach and mentor new flexible staff to ensure adherence to facility policies and procedures.

Provide ongoing training and support to new and existing team members.

Work closely with team members, management, and other departments to achieve operational goals.

Provide accurate information and remain knowledgeable about membership options, programs, and services.

Supervisor (classroom info sessions, Main Street, drop-in sports, clubs etc.)
Qualifications

Minimum High School Diploma, Plus Additional Course Work

First Aid and CPR
-
6 - 12 months of related experience

Possessing strong interpersonal skills and effective written communication
-
Willingness to mentor staff and manage challenging internal and external conversations.
Salary: $21.43 - $26.81 per hour
