Lead Product Manager (Client Onboarding)
A rapidly growing B2B WealthTech company is transforming how financial advisors engage with clients across the financial services and wealth management industry. Its platform enables leading financial institutions to simplify complex investment conversations through intuitive digital experiences, helping advisors build trust, improve investor understanding, delivering better client outcomes.
The organization is entering an exciting phase of growth and is investing heavily in product innovation to redefine the advisor and client experience across enterprise wealth management.
About the Role The company is seeking a Lead Product Manager to own and evolve its flagship onboarding experience, responsible for helping financial advisors and their clients get up and running quickly, confidently, and with minimal friction.
This is a highly strategic role focused on designing exceptional onboarding journeys, activation experiences, and advisor workflows that improve adoption, reduce complexity, and accelerate customer value.
The ideal candidate combines deep product management expertise with a strong understanding of wealth management and financial advisory workflows, and has experience mentoring Product Managers as an organization scales.
Responsibilities: Own the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution for the company's onboarding and activation experience. Design intuitive onboarding journeys that enable financial advisors and their clients to adopt the platform quickly and confidently. Continuously improve activation, engagement, and long-term product adoption through customer research, experimentation, and analytics. Develop products that simplify complex advisor workflows while improving the overall client experience throughout the onboarding lifecycle. Work directly with financial advisors, enterprise clients, internal stakeholders, and customer-facing teams to identify friction points and translate customer insights into product strategy. Partner closely with Design and Engineering to deliver thoughtful, high-quality user experiences from discovery through launch. Lead cross-functional product launches alongside Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to ensure successful adoption across enterprise customers. Define success metrics and leverage quantitative and qualitative data to prioritize initiatives and measure product impact. Mentor and support other Product Managers, helping elevate product thinking, execution, and customer-centric decision making across the organization. Champion best practices in product discovery, roadmap planning, stakeholder management, and outcome-based product development.
Preferred Experience: Direct experience building products for financial advisors, wealth management firms, broker-dealers, RIAs, asset managers, or financial institutions. Experience owning onboarding, activation, client experience, workflow automation, or digital adoption products. Strong understanding of advisor lifecycle management, investor onboarding, account opening, financial planning workflows, or portfolio management ecosystems. Experience working within enterprise SaaS organizations serving highly regulated financial services clients. Familiarity with product analytics, experimentation, customer journey mapping, and data-driven product optimization.
