About As a Business Analyst in the Digital Transformation (DX) team, you will play a critical role in identifying opportunities to improve business performance and implementing effective solutions that align with organizational goals. This position involves evaluating and documenting business processes, analyzing data to support strategic decision-making, and developing solutions that enhance efficiency and service quality. You will be responsible for building and maintaining performance indicators and reports that enable regular analysis of operational trends. In this role, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements, understand business needs, and ensure that proposed solutions are practical and impactful. Working alongside IT and business teams, you will help deliver technology-driven improvements that support modernization and digital transformation efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Design and document requirements for our origination platforms, including writing specifications, performing tests, and managing deployment, training, and change management activities.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to develop solutions that meet business needs, engaging stakeholders throughout the process for alignment.
  • Conduct business process analyses and identify optimization strategies, assessing solution performance and providing continuous improvement feedback.
  • Partner with the DX Program Manager to manage project priorities and oversee roadmap deliverables.
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by creating test plans and managing testing efforts.
  • Develop training materials for product users and coordinate communication rollouts to ensure successful adoption.
  • Participate in deployment tasks to facilitate smooth launches of new features and updates.
  • Oversee development efforts with the development team, adhering to agile methodologies.
  • Monitor user adoption and evaluate the effectiveness of deployed solutions, guiding ongoing enhancements.

The Profile We Are Looking For Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience with origination and financial systems, ideally within commercial finance industry
  • Proven experience in change management
  • Proficiency in UX/UI design principles
  • Experience with Salesforce and Jira
  • Background in equipment finance or related financial services
  • Bilingualism (French and English) in order to serve our clients and partners all over Canada and the United States.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master's degree in business administration, mathematic, information management, or any other related field.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in a similar role
