Project Details:
Based at our project in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, this will be a 3 week on / 3 week off rotation opportunity. Preference will be given to those who reside in Northern Territories.
Responsibilities:
The Jumbo Operators on our remote project in the Northwest Territories is responsible and accountable for the following:
- Follow all policies and procedures at the mine site and underground
- Must be prepared to adhere to all legislated regulations and company Health & Safety policies
- Perform the role safely and ensures Health & Safety is the number one priority
- Operate Atlas Copco M2C Jumbos to drill development rounds
- Construct and maintain underground installations
- Other mining related tasks as required
Qualifications / Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as an underground miner and 2+ years of experience on the Jumbo Bolter
- Experience on Atlas Copco M2C/M20 Jumbo and Boltec MC considered an asset
- Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying 50 lbs representative and on regular basis
- Experience working with a variety of crew and adapt well to working with others
- Must be prepared to adhere to all legislated regulations and company Health & Safety policies
- Ability to work within a fast-paced environment
- Dependable and able to commit to a 3 week on / 3 week off rotation in a remote location
- Positive attitude and enjoys being a proactive member of a high performing team

This position involves frequent air travel to and from the work site. Applicants must meet all legislated requirements for air travel to work at the remote site camp. You will be required to work both dayshift and nightshift as part of the rotational schedule 21 days on site, 21 days off site. For this safety sensitive position, you will be required to undergo a background check and be required to undergo a substance test and pre-employment testing.
